Abstract:
The basis of traffic accidents prevention requires a good understanding of the impact of external factors and consequences of traffic accidents. As the most comprehensive method for determining the impact factors of traffic collisions developed various models of in-depth analysis of traffic accidents. The application of the methodology of indepth analysis to a particular traffic accident details the impact of the road, vehicle, man and environment on that traffic accident. This methodology in particular enables detailed analysis of the influence of man, road, vehicle and environment on the occurrence and consequences of the analyze accident, which allows for a good view of traffic problems. By monitoring the identified deficiencies, potentially dangerous places and behavior of drivers with similar characteristics can be noticed for the observed traffic conditions, where other similar potentially dangerous places and other potentially dangerous behavior of the traffic participants can be eliminated by the implementation of the measures. In the Republic
of Serbia, more specifically, in the territory of the city of Belgrade, in-depth analyses of traffic accidents have been conducted over a period of one year. Applying in-depth analysis defined certain impact factors have been shown to lead to the occurrence of a traffic accident. In this paper, we will examine certain impact factors.
